Nobody was there. Any sign where they are you have to look for them according address. Door was locked to the hotel. they didnt speak english neither Portuguese when i called and they told hostel is closed. I paid for nothing. They some weird behavior to the clients. When i wrote them they insulted me.
do not expect hotel standards for this guest house. in average it is clean, but it is in fact an appartment shared in 3-4 rooms that other people rent. so the cleanliness also depends on other clients, because also the bathrooms (one for male and one for female) are shared. there is no one on site to welcome and give the key, and if you do not notice it on the booking confirmation (ours was made by an agency!), you don't know what to do in front of the main entrance, closed! you need to go at 5 min distance by cabe to reach the reception. Windows in the rooms are not isolated and on a busy road, so you probably won't sleep a lot, also because of moskitos during Rio's winter. which is definitely not an issue, because there are plenty of very nice bars and restaurants in the area,
